About Kim Newman Art

Thanks so much for stopping by my shop!  Here I have created everyday items with my images from Kim Newman Photography.  I'm starting out small as you will see, but I plan to expand offerings and also add new and different images for existing products as this shop grows.

My goals in creating this shop include my heartfelt desire to make an impact - not only through my own direct actions, but through donating a portion of shop profits to organizations supporting wild horse advocacy and wildlife sanctuaries.  While I already do this with my fine art prints, many of us have limited wall space for new fine art prints.  But much like shoes, there is always room for another mug to sip from, pillow to nap on, and phone cover to spruce things up!

As for me personally, I'm a lifelong horse and nature lover with a passion for photography that goes back to my high school days.  Much of my art combines my love of horses with scenes of the West.  I capture these images at beautiful locations in the U.S. and Canada including Utah, Montana, Colorado, British Columbia, and northern Idaho.  I also love to chase butterflies and other meadow creatures in my current home state of Virginia, and chances are you will find a few of those on a mug or pillow at some point!

My fine art photography has been featured in gallery exhibits in northern Virginia and the Rocky Mountain Horse Expo in Denver, CO in February-March 2020.  I recently was honored as Virtual Artist in Residence for Photography by the Art for Apes International Competition for August 2021.  Additionally I received "Highly Commended" and "Commended" recognition on two of my pieces in the Art for Apes International Competition in Fall 2020.

I'm proud to be a member of Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and the Equine Photographers Network (EPNet).

My photography business has been designated as a "Trusted Art Seller" with The Art Storefronts Organization, which means you can shop with confidence, and know that I stand behind the quality and value of my products.

I'm very interested in hearing from those who follow my work, so drop me a line if there is a product you would like to see me offer in the future.  Thanks again for your support of my artwork.  I'm excited to be taking this journey with you!
